Tests and quizzes stress students out but we have flipped assessments around and turned it into a learning process to help students identify areas to study.  When they check their knowledge our personal digital tutor gives targeted feedback which they can then retest with different questions to see where they have improved.  After multiple knowledge checks they will see growth and progress to master the materials.

Project Based Learning & Gamification

This system embodies the real-world application of Knowledge and Practice by incorporating project-based learning and gamification.  In addition to summative and formative assessments, each curriculum contains projects with evidentiary and rubric-based test items.  These may include writing prompts, essays, presentation and file uploads.  As students complete the assignments in their queue they earn badges and other awards.  Teachers can conveniently manage and accept all of their students' submissions from one cloud-based dashboard, saving time and effort.
